Your Data is Secure

Rest assured that every measure has been taken to protect your data. Data is encrypted before it leaves your servers, with an encryption key that only you control. Our software communicates with the remote servers using SSL (Secure Socket Layers) technology, ensuring that the data is encrypted again during its transit over the Internet. Files are then stored, in encrypted form, on multiple servers in remote, high-security, hardened data centers. Your data is never hosted live. We utilize 256-bit AES encryption technology so that data cannot be read without the corresponding keys.

Multiple Recovery Points Nearly Eliminate Data Loss

Virtual BDR takes a snapshot of your data every hour, every day. This provides hundreds of additional backup copies in every 24-hour period, allowing multiple restore points to recover the most current version of your server, the operating system, its applications, and all related data to a point in time typically just prior to a data-loss event. With tape backup, the best-case scenario provides data restoration from the previous night. Virtual BDR limits your loss to a few minutes worth of data, not days!

The data centers provide highly redundant storage, with backup images stored on a Storage Area Network (SAN) at the primary facility and then replicated at the secondary facility. Flexible Backup Plans Provide a Complete Historical Archive
