Parameter Driven
ImagePoint is completely configurable to suit the processing needs of most institutions. This includes specifying sort patterns, endpoints, users, devices, calendar, and a multitude of other parameters.
Easy Administration
ImagePoint can be managed using a sophisticated Administration tool. The system provides logging of errors and warnings and the ability to monitor tasks, applications, devices and the backing up and restoring of data.
Workflow
Bluepoint’s Workflow Manager allows operations management personnel to identify, monitor and manage the flow of work through the system. Supervisors and managers have the ability to change the workflow and priorities such as suspend, re-activate, and force complete for various functions. They can also monitor the dollar amounts (high dollar items) in the groups of work, their deadlines by endpoint, change priorities to meet deadlines, and automate sends to the appropriate endpoint if a deadline has passed, all in a multi-financial institution environment.
Integrated Capture Application
Bluepoint’s Track Capture (TC) provides a single application to perform Prime Capture, Power Encode and Reject Encode. TC works with various transports including Unisys, IBM, NCR, and BancTec. TC provides a full range of functionality including MICR/OCR reads, image capture, microfilm, flexible endorsing, and encoding.
CAR and ICA
Items can be selected for Courtesy Amount Read and Intelligent Character Recognition to significantly reduce the amount of keying required. ImagePoint interfaces to several best-of-the-breed recognition engines to maximize the read rates.
Image Data Entry
ImagePoint has three image based applications that provide data entry completion capabilities for items that were not successful during the CAR and ICR process. Amount Entry provides a fast way to complete items that need only the amount field, while Item Correction allows complete code line correction. Bluepoint’s Item Review application manually assesses the image quality and usability of items.
Reconciliation
This sophisticated image based tool provides the ability to balance blocks of work. Recon provides balancing at required control levels, such as transaction, batch and block, and can be used for Inclearing and POD. Recon provides a “Smart Balancer” that identifies potential out-of-balance conditions and provides operator tips. It also includes a facility to create account holder, inter-institution and teller advices.
ATM Balancing
ImagePoint includes an integrated ATM balancing solution to handle ATM envelope deposits. The solution includes receiving ATM deposit files daily from the institution’s transaction system, processing and recognizing the ATM envelopes as credits, and then performing ICR on the envelopes. It is also a sophisticated application for performing deposit research, review and balancing.
Reporting and Extraction
lmagePoint includes a comprehensive reporting facility for daily operations, statistical and MIS reporting. Reports can be scheduled for auto creation, easily viewed and printed, archived, and sent to an email list. ImagePoint also includes flexible data extraction.
IP Exchange Interfaces
A seamless interface to the Image Exchange Module provides a complete Check21 solution for check processing. Incoming exchange is achieved by performing Virtual Capture into lmagePoint’s Outgoing exchange is done by creating X9.37 files for selected endpoints based on bilateral agreement.
IP Warehouse
ImagePoint’s data archival system is designed to allow full advantage of the informational needs required by the Check21 Act. IP Warehouse provides a scalable solution to retain all the item data necessary for duplicate checking, return items, data mining, and archiving processes.
