Bluepoint Solutions Celebrates Decade of Customers’ Achievements

Bluepoint customers regular winners of Credit Union Journal’s Best Practices Awards–

Henderson, Nev.- Dec. 9, 2014– Bluepoint Solutions congratulates Cabrillo Credit Union of San Diego on receiving a 2014 Credit Union Journal Best Practices Award. Credit Union Journal, the nation’s leading credit union newsweekly, recognizes institutions each year for making a significant contribution to improving credit union operations in a way that can be replicated by credit unions nationwide.

Bluepoint’s customers have been frequent recipients of the Best Practices Award over the past 10 years, in a wide variety of breakthrough applications.

  • Cabrillo used Bluepoint’s comprehensive document imaging and enterprise content management (ECM) solution to garner a 20% improvement in employee productivity, redirecting that employee time toward member-facing activities. It also cut by half the effort required for loan signings, and reduced paper use by 40%.
  • Two Bluepoint customers received 2013 awards. One was Hope Federal Credit Union of Jackson, Mississippi, which used mobile banking and mobile deposit (RDC) to serve members with limited access to traditional financial services. The other was Memphis, Tennessee based Orion Federal Credit Union, for developing effective ways to use teller capture with fraud prevention to mitigate check loss.
  • Grow Financial Federal Credit Union (formerly MacDill FCU) of Tampa, Florida, received the 2007 award for furthering the use of real-time check capture and forward presentment directly at the teller line.
  • Plus4 Credit Union (formerly Houston Postal CU) received the award in 2004 based on its use of an enterprise-wide content management system to eliminate paper usage and facilitate remote productivity.
