UMe FCU Increases Real Estate Loan Growth 30% Over Three Years

UMe Federal Credit Union ($165 million, Burbank, CA.) is up against formidable competition from larger CUs and banks, and in conjunction with Bluepoint and Malauzai, successfully launched a mobile banking app that resulted in a 30% spike in mobile activity. In an effort to create an omni-channel banking experience for all members, the credit union is in the process of adopting new technologies that will not only grow its mobile adoption, but its loan portfolio and its brand.

Alaska Puts the Remote in ATM Deposits

In order to broaden the accessibility to key financial services around the clock, Credit Union 1 ($864 million, Anchorage, AK.) launched a comprehensive ATM replacement project in December 2012 and installed Check 21-enabled ATMs from Diebold with ATM check capture from Bluepoint Solutions. As members become more comfortable with using the new technology, the credit union has seen significant adoption and increase in the use of the ATM channel and has seen ATM deposits increase 68% between July 2013 and December 2014.
